Director, Unity College: Sky Lodge - Unity College

Job Description:
The Director is responsible for the long-term sustainability of Unity College: Sky Lodge and for ensuring that it meets its mission, programming, stewardship, and revenue expectations. The Director provides strategic direction, administration, partnership development, marketing, supervision, budget management, and operational execution for Unity College: Sky Lodge. Specific duties include (but are not all inclusive):
Maintains and implements an approved strategic business plan that includes plans and heuristics for programming, human resources, partnership, marketing, and margin-based budget and revenue generation. Aligns strategic direction with college strategic plan and priorities.
Develops and maintains partnerships with associated strategic college and external partners, in coordination with the President and Unity College: Enterprise.
Identifies, develops and maintains opportunities with internal and external mission-aligned entities and develops strategies for raising and increasing revenue.
Works with college fundraising to support philanthropy and stewardship efforts for the college and the project.
Oversees the day-to-day operation and implements the strategic direction.
Develops and communicates standard operating procedures.
Establishes standards for customer service and ensures they are followed.
Manages all associated budgets and approves expenditures through college financial system.
Ensures compliance with building, dining, lodging, programming, and all other applicable laws and regulations.
Represents Unity College to the broader community, especially as related to Sky Lodge, the Sky Lodge area community, clients and project partners.
Maintains a Sky Lodge facility maintenance plan in coordination with college maintenance leadership.
Hires, trains, and supervises Sky Lodge personnel in coordination with college Human Resources Director.
Works with other college leadership to coordinate support for the successful operation of Sky Lodge, including but not limited to IT, marketing, academics, student success, advancement, business office, and operations.
Coordinates and supervises hospitality, administration, and marketing, programming, and maintenance functions, among others, related to the routine operation of the property.
Extends hospitality to guests by providing leadership and oversight of the many aspects that contribute to a favorable guest experience and the smooth and efficient and sustainable running of the lodging facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel or business management with at least 3-5 years of job-related experience plus:
Must have business acumen, excellent communication, leadership, relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the best practices and procedures for customer service, hospitality management, hotel operations and motivating and disciplining hospitality workers.
Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse political/socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide range of physical and academic abilities.
Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and computerized database systems.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college.
Preferred: Master's degree
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, calendar-year, exempt position. Due to the nature of the position, work beyond regular hours and travel (to include evenings and weekends) is necessary in meeting the requirements of the position. The employee shall establish regular office hours in consultation with supervisor and adjust the work schedule as appropriate. Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling responsibilities and meeting the college's needs. This position is considered "essential" to the college and not eligible for administrative closings.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
