M.S. of Professional Science Adjunct Instructor in GISciences - Unity College

Job Description:
Unity College seeks dynamic individuals to teach in a new online Masters of Professional Science Graduate Program in GIScience. Courses are online and run for eight weeks in five different sessions starting October 23, 2017. We seek qualified individuals to develop and teach courses in GIS and Remote Sensing with an environmental focus using ArcGIS. Specifically we seek instructors for the following courses: GIS and Remote Sensing for Environmental Solutions, Advanced GIS and Remote Sensing for Ecological Applications, Modeling Our Changing World, Environmental Research Methods, and Creating Maps and Graphics of Ecosystem Change. Experience with teaching GIS online and using the Course Management System Canvas is desirable but not required. Unity College will provide Canvas training support as needed.
The successful candidate will have a terminal degree (PhD) in the profession or discipline of the course, with the ability to effectively communicate subject matter to others. Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is desirable.

The College reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or reassign any course. Courses that do not achieve minimum student enrollment may be offered for reduced compensation.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
