Interim Institutional Research Coordinator Postion - Unity College

Job Description:
The Interim Institutional Research Coordinator Position performs necessary functions related to the collection, interpretation, and use of institutional data for planning, assessment, and decision making. Facilitates access to information maintained in the CAMS and other related information systems to support college operations and monitor key institutional indicators, ensuring the integrity of data/information released in reports or studies, and providing data analysis, reporting, or research as needed to support institutional objectives. This position works a 40 hour per work week schedule. Specific duties of this position include (but are not all inclusive):
Coordinates the College's institutional research activities including collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting information for the College for use in decision making.
Works closely with appropriate College offices in research and statistical analysis needed for various projects in areas such as enrollment management, curriculum, instruction, and alumni.
Responsible for creating data reports, including the College Factbooks, Census Data, Institutional Review data, Program Review data, and other reports to support institutional goals.
Assists in the completion of Unity College's reports to US Federal government National Student Clearinghouse, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), Maine Department of Higher Education and other external constituents as needed.
Researches and submits data to third-party surveys, ensures timely posting of content, maintains a master database of said surveys, and pursues continuous improvement of the College's position through these sites.
Documents business processes for accurate data retrieval, reporting, collecting, and input into CAMS and related systems.
Assists in the preparation, follow-up, and reports for NEASC and related accreditation agencies and in the College's efforts to secure grants.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2 - 5 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. Experienced in creating database SQL queries and data modeling. Excellent interpersonal, oral and presentation, and written communication skills. Advanced computing skills including spreadsheets, database software, graphics/presentation, word processing, statistical analysis, Windows software and the use of the internet as a research tool. Demonstrated organizational skills and abilities in managing multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently and under time pressure. Ability to anticipate, interpret, and quickly respond to and continuously improve quality of data needs of administration. Understanding of how to handle confidential information appropriately and effectively.
Additional Information:
This is a fixed length position. Primarily a day shift with occasional evening and weekend shifts. Working extended hours may be required as needed. Must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling responsibilities and in meeting the College's needs. While performing the duties of this job, is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Work is performed mostly in an office setting.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
