SUMMARY As a Registration Specialist, you are a key player in department workflow and organization directly affecting patient satisfaction.

Days, Monday-Friday ATTRIBUTES Strong attention to detail Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior RESPONSIBILITIES Registration.
Conduct accurate patient registration process by collecting accurate information; verify demographic, insurance and physician information; update accounts as needed; obtain all necessary signatures, consent forms and financial agreements; collect co-pays when applicable Department Management.
Answer department phone calls and relay messages to appropriate staff; participate in departmental performance improvement plans; maintain supply of all forms and paper Documentation.
Enter all required data into computer system; ensure all reports and logs are completed accurately and on time EDUCATION:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
